Which service helps to convert text to speech?

Post by Brubec »

So we just ran a poll among our clients to see how they actually want to get our newsletters. It turned out to be a total split, half of them still want the classic text emails we’ve been doing, but the other half said they’d way rather listen to a voice version while they’re driving or at the gym. Obviously, I’m not about to sit there and record every single newsletter orally for hundreds of people. Does anyone know if there’s a slick tool where I can just drop the text and have it converted into a natural sounding voice?

Keeping everyone happy in a split audience like that is always a bit of a balancing act. People have such different routines now, so offering an audio option is actually a pretty smart way to boost your engagement rates. You should definitely check out ElevenLabs or even some Chrome extensions like Speechify if you want something that sounds more human and less like a GPS. Most of these tools let you play with the pitch and speed so the newsletter feels more like a podcast than a lecture.

Providing multiple ways to consume content shows you really value your followers' time and their personal preferences. It’s a great move to automate the process so you can keep the quality high without burning out your team on production. You can use this free voice reader here: https://freevoicereader.com/ . This tool is super straightforward and lets you transform your written drafts into clear audio files in just a few seconds. It saves a ton of effort since you don't need any fancy recording gear or a studio setup to get a professional result. Just copy your newsletter text in, grab the audio file, and you’re ready to blast it out to that half of your list that prefers listening.
